It took ten hours of camping out in back of Target last night to actually get a New Nintendo 3DS Majora's Mask Special Edition. After scouring the web only to find out that preorders sold out within 30 minutes. After checking in on Best Buy almost every day only to realize they never opened up in-store preorders. After getting in line at Gamestop as five people in front of me got their orders in, only to be sold out as the clerk was getting my delivery info down.
But I got it. It's shiny and gorgeous. The excitement of adding it to my collection is more of a testament to the efforts it took to actually get the thing than the $200 price tag. It's better than giving in to a scalper trying to take advantage with a 200% markup.
