Link Rides

A nice surprise awaited me today after work. I received the "Link on Epona" by First 4 Figures. First impression: this thing is freakin huge. It took over the whole lobby.


Amidst my excitement, I paused to document the unboxing through photos:

And so it will remain, even if the Master Sword blocks the monitor. Because it is glorious, and commands my attention.

Dropped It

Dang. I dropped my 3DS while waiting for dinner today. It hit the concrete floor, and on the topside to boot. It still works fine, which I suppose is the important part. Little scratches on all four corners and a long, albeit light, scratch in the middle. Don't know how I dropped it either, but I was sitting maybe four feet up, dropped it, jumped down, and almost caught it 2 or 3 times but it just kept bouncing off my hands. Dang.

All my other Gameboys are immaculate, especially the Zelda theme ones, so this makes me especially disappointed. So I ordered a clear hard case for $2. Should've protected it earlier, but I didn't want to cover up the pretty designs.

Dang.
